Whaling Museum
A beautifully restored 19th-century candle factory turned museum, the Whaling Museum offers a glimpse into Nantucket’s maritime past. Guests can explore fascinating exhibits, including a dramatic 46-foot whale skeleton. Located in the heart of town, it’s a unique and memorable stop during your stay.

'Sconset Bluff Walk
Siasconset, commonly known as ‘Sconset, is located at the eastern end of Nantucket. Originally a fishing village, this picturesque community boasts charming, rose-covered cottages. The Bluff Walk is a public footpath along the east shore bluffs behind private houses.
Sconset can be reached via Uber, the WAVE public bus, or by bike via the Milestone or Polpis bike path.

Established in 1746, Brant Point Lighthouse is America's second oldest lighthouse. This charming lighthouse is easily walkable from town and great for pictures.

Beaches

Steps Beach
Steps Beach is one of the most iconic and picturesque beaches on the island. Located on the north shore, there are no waves, and it’s walking distance from town.

Ladies Beach
Located on the island’s south shore, this beach this beach features excellent body surfing and boogie boarding. There’s a nearby parking area and footpath through the dunes for beach access. Near Cisco Brewery and Bartlett Farm. A drive from town.

Jetties Beach
Jetties is one of the most popular beaches on island, conveniently located on the north shore just outside of town. Jetties is a wide, flat beach with shallow water and generous sand bars at low tide. It is one the most accessible beaches on Nantucket and does not require a long hike up and down a dune. There is a large parking lot, a restaurant, shops, and restrooms nearby.
